"African leaders urged to put countries' interests first"
President Thabo Mbeki and Joseph Kabila, his Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) counterpart, have urged African leaders to work together to ensure the success of the continent. Speaking during the launch of the binational commission of both countries, the two leaders called for an end to wars and personal ambitions.The meeting began after a five-hour delay caused by the late arrival of Azera Ruberwa, the RCD leader.
