"Britain to stop poaching nurses overseas"
LONDON - Britain is to crack down on the recruitment of nurses from Asia and Africa, which are themselves short of medical staff, following pressure from the World Health Organisation (WHO).National Health Service (NHS) and private hospitals are poaching record numbers of overseas nurses from developing countries because of chronic staff shortages in Britain.
