"African integration is still a dream"
New York - Africa has not shaken its colonial-era economic patterns, with intra-African trade accounting for only about 10 percent of total exports and imports, according to a 275-page study released on Wednesday.As a result the full potential of a vast market has not been realised despite countless efforts toward regional integration, the study by the Economic Commission for Africa said.
