SOWETO - South Africa is actively pitching its black ghettos to travellers as an experience in living history, filled with politics, culture, craft and music.A decade after the end of apartheid, hordes of tourists are descending on townships located on the fringes of cities where blacks often lived in appalling conditions, and the government is promoting them as virtual museums.
