"Washington turns the anti-Cuba lash on Jamaica"
Like the Energizer bunny of the television commercial, the United States government just never quits when it decides on certain courses of action. Every new step it takes seems to reinforce the previous step, as well as the rightness of what it is doing, even if this is demonstrably outdated, ill-advised, shopworn or downright stupid.The most egregious example of this fixity of mind is its relations with its close neighbour, Cuba. Since the middle of the 19th century, the United States has had an interest in Cuba far different from its relationship with any other country. More at: jamaicaobserver.com
