we are in a sad time as nubians allow there form of giving messages through music. to be twisted, and perverted until we (nubians) who remember it's birth, and infancy no longer recognize it as OUR child. we allowed the devil to raise our child knowing the toilet the devil would take our child into. we stood aside and F..KING watched as the devil, and his seed laughed. what fools you mortal gods be. remember when rakim said [rap] is an acronym for rythm, and poetry. oh!! how we long for the days of lyrical compasitions with dendrite creating subject matter. the milky sentences laid over drums only allowing you to bob you head: ear riveted to the speaker. when chuck D said

this is what i mean

a anti nigga machine

if i come out alive

then they won't come clean

these words intwined skillfully in beats and rythms. caused a generation to think about the path they were walking. while we were thinking we let the devil' seed in. yeah i remember [third base], and [vanilla ice]. i remember when we loved [run d.m.c.] for making a rock song with aero smith. i remember when the box would play the wackest videos because they were popular. yet they contained nothing to cause rational thought, and all the while we watched.
