1. Give Thanks and Praises

To His Imperial Majesty

Emperor Haile Selassie the First
King of Kings

Lord Of Lords

Creator of Zion and Earth

2. Please show us the way

To love and not hate

In these Armageddon times
For things are so rough

We don’t meditate enough

Held captive with chains on our minds

3. Please help us to see

Our divine destiny

Without having to use our eyes
Please give us the might

To fight for whats right

And read through propaganda and lies

4. Please hear our cries

For truth and rights

On earth as it is in Mt.Zion
Please teach us to pray

Defender of our Faith

Our Almighty Conquering Lion

5. O, what a time

When we can’t see the signs

Of leaders dealing in pure corruption
Now, there’s germ warfare

Causing more death and tears

Plowing earth into total destruction

6. With a selfish intention

Using U.S. intervention

To control the human race
Implanting in us their mark
And keeping us in the dark

The ultimate human rights disgrace

7. The American Coalition

Is on a suspicious mission

To protect the world from terrorism
Please let us all pray

For it looks more so everyday

Like the anti-christ has now risen

8. From Afghanistan to Iraq

North Korea’s attack

And now on to Zimbabwe
No matter how many protests

The president states

Wars will last as long as it takes

9. So, Somalia’s in the way

The president Mugabe

This world is in pure turmoil
The U.S’s airstrikes

Causing constant tax hikes

And human blood saturating the soil.

10. Government laughs and boasts

Dropping bombs coast to coast

Fighting in unfamilure desert sands
New world order now unleashed

Helping out the mark of the beast

Wanting control of biblical holylands.

11. We must be aware

While the world stops to stare

Of what’s going to happen next
For the time grows more near

No time to finish your beer

Clearly written in Revelations text.

12. Please give us the strength

When we walk the plank

To continually praise your name
Don’t let us sell out

Even when we’re in doubt

In our times of suffering and pain
.

13. For we’ll soon feel Jah wrath

On this Babylon path

Indulging in our daily desires
Please help us my God

Before you flash your rod

And rain upon us Brimstone and Fire
