Early 700,s
Gibraltar of Portugal was named after the Islamic Moor(Blacks)Gebral Tarik, who went over the narrow peninsular with His men between that area of the mediteranian world . Then they conquered Spain and gave many mystic knowlege to the people there for at least a couple hundreds of years until they had to retreat back to Africa around just before Columbus time in the I400's. He sailed from Morrocco to do that movement.
His name was Jebel Tarik the Moor.
