I do completely agree that woman should be treated equally by all rastafari men. Notwithstanding, it must be understood that the Bobo Ashanti are a priestly sect. They are even more militant/fundamentalist than other groups. They take their impetus from the Bible, where women have a submissive/lower role. This is one of the reasons why Bobo woman are in such low numbers. I hope that the Bobo will change their ways, but all we can do is hope.
