Greetings Henry
I agree with the I on the use of the word god. The term is so generic. For instance, if ones hear someone say "thank you God," would ones know to which God they are referring? NO. A buddhist will give thanks to Buddha. A christian will give thanks to Jesus. A muslim will give thanks to Allah. etcetera, etcetera. So yes Ras, for the Rastaman/wombman, Qedamawi Haile Selassie is the Highest. This is topic is similiar to ones who think that it doesnt matter to call Y'shua,Iyesus, by the name Jesus (Geezus). A name does matter. Word, Sound, Power. If InI are in distress, who does InI cry out to? god or Haile Selassie I? Invoking the name of Girmawi Qedamawi Haile Selassie leaves no doubt who InI look to for guidance and protection. InI dont subscribe to no generic god. Haile Selassie I InI hail. Give thanks Iyah.
Iron sharpens Iron.

P.S. Hell no Rasta dont buy the vicar of Christ nonsense. Who feels it knows it.
