Yeah I know getting along nuh guarantee nothing, that's why I said from the outset the title of the post was a joke.
I agree with you about conflict. I get into many of them myself. I've even earned myself a reputation as a bit of a volatile character whose eyes might get scarily wide as my voice rises at any given moment. (Got to curb that cos it's counter-productive to getting your point across).
I guess I just saw this exchange between one person I know moderately well in the flesh, and another who I feel I know at least a little bit from the internet, and saw that they obviously had a picture of each other that was very different from what I think I know of the real character of both of them. i.e. Rasi is no boot-licking uncle tom, and Bantu Kelani is no hysterical wannabe dictator with whitey on the brain.
Maybe we could have conflicts of ideas without attacking people's characters so much? (People who we don't really know). Then again I've attacked plenty of people's characters on this very board so I'm just opening the way for another post about Hypocrites by saying that. So I guess I'll shut up. As the folks in the 5% Nation of Gods and Earths say, "P.E.A.C.E." (Positive Education Always Corrects Errors/Positive Energy Activates Constant Elevation)
P.S. I'm not a 5%er, just to clarify that...
