Simply brilliant Ayinde. I love this quote! This author is correct Black people are the most uprooted people around today. We have been denigrated, scorned, being ostracized, abandoned and slandered for so long we have no longer first hand knowledge of who we are. That is why we suffer this way because we face historical ignorance and there is no support and a truly non-supportive environment in which to learn from our African ancestors… definitely, WE DON'T KNOW WHO WE WERE AND WHO CAN BE! We pick up every passing fad, religion and believe without putting it in an African context firstly. That's why we have so much self-hatred and lack of Respect. We should take our rightful place under the sun and contribute to human advancement. WAKE UP AFRICA!
