Me ain' know bout duh... To I everyone should make it a priority to seek JAH within to learn from, to learn from all the teachers who gone appear in yu life whether they from JA, whether they call themselves Rasta, whether whatever (might be your own children), and everybody should make it a priority to do something positive in the community and to get in where they fit in into the struggle to make this world a better place. And to develope at least one of your god/dess given gifts and talents and use it for the benefit of others in whatever way as well as the pure joy of creativity. Once yu got all that going, then yu can go on yu pilgrimage to JA or wherever yu waan go.
Going to Jamaica or any other place where yu could find wise Rasta people will not make one whit of difference if the person going doesn't even know how to distinguish between a wise [wo]man and a charlatan.
Perhaps the money yu might spend going to JA or wherever might be better spent on other things?
It sounds too much like 'spiritual tourism' to me... also don't you think the rastaman dem in yard or wherever might got they hands full trying to teach they own people, without having a bunch a whitey (no offense) coming from 'merica asking them for enlightenment?
Just my perspective, take it as food for thought...
