I think it is important to realize AS WELL that many of the Africans taken to America were living in the high civilizations in West Africa at the time. there is the possiblity that these Africans were highly skilled at many trades already when brought to the states and this added to the reasonment for bringing these skilled labourers to build up the New World Babylon.

don't forget as well that it was the Moors from Africa who took over and civilized Spain before the slave trade began.
