"Ethiopia" is both seen as all Africa, and as the kingdom of Ethiopia -usually referring to the Land Grant provided for repatriation. The polarity of opinions in this thread seem to be focussed around the beliefs behind each version (e.g. Pan-Africanism and "spiritual Zion"). It is sometimes helpful then, to investigate the tenets behind a belief to move the discussion forward (and hopefully beyond personalization). The roots are then upfront.
There is no subscription here to the falsified decisions made in 1889, which is why I mentioned the people who were torn asunder, those who claim their homelands in western Africa.
