Given the thread on repatriation and this thread, the denial patterns of whites have surfaced in a manner that is not at all surprising. We can clearly see the results of such white arrogance and ignorance the world over. For the sake of clarity let me restate some main points.

1) Rasta is a Black/African based Movement that is dedicated towards the destruction of white supremacy regardless of whether it manifests from whites or blacks.

2) Whites have no authority to dictate to Africans how they should go about their liberation.

3) Whites going to Africa is not repatriation.

Furthermore, the defense mechanisms of White should be identified and known:

0) i am not racist, have no white arrogance and suffer not from white privilege.

1) i am a (white) rasta and therefore i am not racist

2) My parents or great grandparents had no slaves and therefore I have no moral responsibility for the wrongs committed by Europeans and by extension have no responsibility to advocate for reparations.

3) I have Black friends therefore i am not racist

4) I associate with famous African people or famous African people know me and acknowledge me, therefore i am not racist

5) I help African people therefore i am not suffering from white privilege or arrogance.

6) It is a waste of time to discuss race issues. Let us all be one. As Bob Marley said 'one love'. There is no race, rainbow people. One people under Jah.etc

7) Such talk is divisive. Why can't we live in peace and harmony.

8) I will attack and find some fault with the person or the forum to cloud and distract from the issue

9) The person who is bringing up these divisive matters is a racist, hates white people and therefore should be ignored.

It is not hard to identify these patterns, and it is necessary that people have the courage to work on these things. These issues of race,, and gender in this case specifically white privilege and arrogance run very very deep, and many whites underestimate this. The extent of these issues are simply mind-boggling, and do not go away because someone calls themself a rasta.
