"For a start there is no such thing as a 'race'."
The writer of that article did leave room for the possibility that he may not have gotten it all right. So I am just highlighting this line, as it is often a point of serious misunderstanding.
There is no such thing as race by the bogus analyses and conclusions that were spread by Europeans, especially about their superiority over all other people. But in terms of differences in people, race is definitely there as it defines a set of observable physical characteristics of people that gives at first glance an idea of their relationship with History.
Even if you want to say that the Europeans invented race in the 1600's, it is still a historical reality which must be dealt with. Scientists, for example, have looked at the reality of race through diseases which are unique to particular races.
So it is not really helpful to say it does not exist, since the idea of race has been used to destroy some people and preserve others. The way out of this debate is not to simply say race does not exist.
