The cultural history that Africans and Europeans have with each other precludes the intelligent Africans from being open armed all the time to everybody. Sorry, that's just how it is. We don't have the time or energy to love every body else when we haven't figured out to love, support and take care of ourselves as African first every day all day."
There's absloutley no doubt that European colonialism is still f'ing up Africa in a huge way.
When a bosnian walks into a mosque in NY no one calls him a culture theif because he's not an arab. He is a bredrin in the faith.
When a japanese worships sidhartha the buddah from India Indians don't disdain them.
when a woman from Haiti walks in a church to praise a man from the middle east no ones looking twice.
The Rastafari faith is worldwide because people are called to that faith. anyone is free to beleive what they want. perhaps because of it's relative infancy this faith is not as open to other people yet, but that fact remains that rastas come in all colors and nationalities and if you heed the words of its namesake tafari makonnnen you will know he licked out against racial discrimination. a
