Selassie was not a mason. There is a masonic lodge called the house of Haile Selassie but was only named so because of the relationship between HIM and Solomon. A spokesman for the lodge has mailed me in the past to confirm that HIM was never a member of any Freemason movement within the western idea of a lodge.
