Bless up
I understand what y'all is sayin...simply, if there is already an existing organization to do a task...and then some other people decided to form another organization to do the same task...it looks kinda strange...
questions like...why wouldn't they rally under the umbrella of the first organization...and if it is a difference in views, given that they are already a difference in skin color...then it is understandable that ones are suspicious of the same type of white supremacy occuring again...
"The theme of the thread is "Whites and Repatriation", and I hope some are not confusing Repatriation with Reparations. "
yet I am responding to ur words
"Well I wonder who decides what is best to do with those funds collected in the name of the victims? "
u can't say that and not consider reparations...because who are the ones who are able to give money to these organizations...and then u have to consider who and who isn't on minimum wage...struggling...be it that there is still discrimination against INI...and this discrimination equates to reparations not being paid...
money...is their money...the usage of it, and aquiring of it, is through there ethics and principle...somewhere down the line...
so unless we think more cooperative and self-reliant...to the point of excluding their money...the movment...any movement is dependant upon them...
excluding their money may seem impossible, unrealistic and so forth...but I see no other way...I don't talk like I have all the answers...but what I see I have to talk...and be truthfull...and INI don't see any other way
...call me stubborn...but I did not read the article...
