I don't expect an oppressing power to give anything up so easily. They will either have to be forced to pay or a better quality of people will rise to leadership positions through the growing awareness of the people who demand change. In that light much can be done towards reparations. Increasing the awareness of people is the priority now.
The discussions about reparations are mostly about increasing the awareness of people and examining their character and social awareness. If Whites keep the reparation issue in mind when they try to deal with Blacks in general they may display humility. Failing which they try to push assimilation while neglecting the core issues that prevent fair play. And any kind of 'onelove' or 'togetherness' move is only about maintaining the status quo of unmerited White privileges and White superiority.
To tie this back to the main theme: When Blacks and Whites in their delusional state of togetherness that is not based on correcting social imbalances, go back to Africa in their fairytale idea of creating a new world, they are not trying to change the system. They are running away from where they should stand and fight. They are adding to the problems in Africa.
