Ayinde, Yan, others:
Apologies for continuing to divert the thread from its original subject... but about reparations, I have a quick question:
Do you see much chance that reparations will ever be paid in the absence of revolution? (i.e. TAKING reparations, whether through violent means or a mass non-violent movement or a combination of tactics, at any rate basically forcing the powers that be to give up the goods- not remotely possible at the present time I know, but possible in the future if people build towards it now, at least I think so).
I just really don't see them giving it up otherwise- I mean why would they? They certainly don't give a f*** about justice or anything like that. And if reparations were paid in full, what they really owe us, and Native Americans, etc- it would break their bank. The only way I see them giving anything up semi-voluntarily is if its a real small token amount.
What do you all think? Maybe I should have started another thread for this, sorry.
