Prophet Chris the I says "Selassie Is A Perfect Man". I disagree with this statement. His Majesty is quoted as saying "We do sin from time to time."
A portion of the reason I hail H.I.M is because of the groundation that H.I.M sets for InI of real life works along with mistakes which are learned from. I don't deal with a magic con-ception of H.I.M where he is perfect or could do anything he wanted by snapping his fingers. To pretend that H.I.M is perfect is to lose the inherent potential of transformation of InI as individual and collective people. Meaning we must deal with reality and reality is that H.I.M conquered not by being perfect but by being a real man with real challenges and real successes and real failures. For this reality is a piece of our liberation from our past and present imperfections---We can rise in the Irit and Guidance of Service even in our imperfections. I hail H.I.M for works of righteousness, I hail H.I.M for spiritual soundness, I hail H.I.M for developmental progressiveness, I hail H.I.M for his mercy, I hail for his Judgements, I hail H.I.M for his Love. I don't hail H.I.M for being perfect for that is not real and not what I know H.I.M to teach about himself or anyone in the world.
Bredren I write this as my own livity of the trod. Perhaps the I agrees or disagrees. What does the I mean when the I says H.I.M is perfect?
