Hail up Elder Marcus and Kamau (I never realize it was you Kamau, how de I doing).
Just to expand the reasoning a bit, how about smoking in moderation? Personally at this point in my life I smoke perhaps twice or three times a month. I don't feel that the small amount of smoke I am ingesting would do my lungs much harm if any. From I cut down my smoking rate, it only take one or two pulls to feel the vibes, more times when I smoke I don't even smoke a whole joint.
I recognize that to drink herb tea or eat it in food would be the healthiest move, yet it seems whenever I eat the herb it effects me TOO strongly. It becomes more like the effect of what dem would call a "drug". For eg. I would have no problem driving after burning a half a joint, but I would not drive after eating a herb cookie. Perhaps that is just I.
So what is the I's opinion on smoking the herb sparingly, as opposed to the many-times-daily usage that characterises many Rastaman/woman I know.
Respect.
