The word overstand

I could get in this discussion later maybe, right now I'm on the run, but I just saw something I needed to correct. The word OVERSTAND comes from RASTAFARI people, Dr. York stole this word just like he stole most of his 'teachings' from various other people and groups. Rasta has been saying overstand from ever since, just as we say downpressor instead of oppressor (which sounds like 'up-presser' like it was something positive) and so on. Just wanted to clear that misconception up. As for the twelve tribes and the Bible, I am one of those Rastas who sees these things symbolically rather than literally, for me Adam and Eve are myths not real people (not using the word 'myth' in a negative sense like a lie meant to deceive people, but in the sense of a story that is to be looked at for its symbolic significance, not as actual fact). Well I could say more later, for now, peace out.
