The basic Christian teaching of ONE savior named Jesus Christ (our GOD is better than yours, WE are God's chosen and such) is an invitation to genocide. To say blame the Christians but not the teaching is a cop-out. That there were some Christians who choose to overlook the xenophobic teachings of the tradition does not mean that the teaching itself should not be questioned. We're not talking about a few missionaries here and there:we're talking about billions murdered. The least Christians should do is have the courage to critically look at their own teaching.
