Greetings gman,
maybe a bit of a tangent, but hey...
most families are systems of exchange that run without money. Sure some of the inputs take money to obtain (house, food etc) but the actual exchange of those things and of all of the myriad things that make a household work takes place with no money at all. We all know how to do cashless exchanges, we just need to extend the concept out to the broader world..
just a thought
love and life
