Well, the Ras Tafari faithful fulfills an Afro-centered lifestyle stem from ideas and concepts rooted in the Judeo-Christian faith. The Rastafarian livity is driven by this specific "ideology" may it be religious, socio-cultural, political or economical. Just like any profane human being is driven by the popular system of "belief" of his or her community.
