We cannot attack these issues as a unified front for simple reasons; those who are not on the receiving end of these abuses most often contribute to it. Failure to acknowledge and even reason on it reeks of denial and the possibility of continuing the Racism/Colorism. When these issues are not properly addressed people come in with the same attitudes and keep sidetracking the issues.

The ‘bickering’ (to uses your word) is part of defining one's position. Who feel the brunt of the abuses is the people we should all be supporting and promoting. There is no real coming together without truth telling and acknowledging our own complicity in keeping the system the way it is.
