Western governments, and their citizens, are in no position to declare immigrant opportunities and well being in their territory. Western governments, and by extension its citizens, have broken every major promise they has made to 3rd world immigrants.
Big business knows we are a source of cheap labor, they are our problem and their enforcement of immigration laws. If you read the National Urban Policy Institute studies, you will see we actually contribute to the economy WAAAY more than we utilize resources such as welfare in the U.S…
Your assumption that pertains to black African gentrification or any other so-called social privilege in the West is flawed and "copping the white man supremacist’s posture". As a Ras Tafari person you ought to know better as you have been educated in the ongoing destruction and exploitation of ALL Africans by western powers, cunningly so in Europe and Amerikkka.
Therefore, your assumption of African Immigrants reaping benefits or any privilege in the Amerikkkan soil, rings trivial to me. Personally, I solely moved to the U.S to enhance my relatives' economic status back home. With a bitter employment I succeed doing so, focused on a planning and investment, which might be positively affecting my people in the future.
