I usually don't post on this board due to these foolish posts on Black & White, but I have my hearsay on this topic. First of all for anyone to say that Ethiopia is an apartheid state, that is a lie. Maybe some might be anti Rasta but not all. How could anyone consider themself an African & undermine their own people like this? It doesn't make any sense to me at all & I can see why Ras Hal is irritated over this kind of discussion.

Ethiopians are not only Shemitic but Hamitic as well. I don't use the words Semitic, because the Bible phrase is Shemitic not Semitic. Semitic is a European words not an Israelite word. Ethiopians are biblical people, the proof has been seen. How could anyone from America who never even live among Ethiopians, talk this way? Its the same foolishness with Ben Jocanan who claim to be from Ethiopia, but don't even look like one. I wouldn't doubt it if he is really an African American rather than an Ethiopian.

With his remarks on His Majesty poisoning Empress Zauditu & killing Lij Yasu is a lie. Jochanan is a Selassie fighter & I have nothing to do or learn from this man. He wasn't even there to see exactly what took place, but instead he has spread lies on the King as even some African Americans have done too. I've noticed this kind of behaviour with some African Americans, they act like they know every thing, but don't. Would I believe someone who never even been to Ethiopia, or a regular Ethiopian Native?

My choice would have to be an Ethiopian. I do know some Ethiopians & I rather learn from them, than anyone who wasn't even born in Ethiopia or lived among them. That is why I listen to Haile Selassie I not just because He is the King, but also of being an Ethiopian! Jochanan & these other African American scholars can go ahead & spread propaganda on the King, but their time will come for sure.
