“In all reality, every documentation of history is going to be filled with bias and it is up to the reader to take the extra step in reading different perspectives as well as making the judgements for themselves” SisMenenI
I agree with you! Ones call this article and others on this site propaganda. The fact is that all information can be considered propaganda depending on the side of the fence you sit. Even a cursory examination of modern politics shows us that today’s freedom fighter is tomorrow's terrorist. The claims of the article’s biasness are irrelevant in that context. There are those whose political, social, historical circumstances will find it completely accurate and justified and will call what I assume some may see as PRO Ethiopian information/ websites/ history as completely biased and call it propaganda as well. So where does that leave those in search of the truth? Well we must look at all sides. As Rasifree has said there are many sites out there that attest to the glory of Selassie. Well good for them. That side has been told. The other side must be told as well. Somewhere in the middle of both sides lies the truth. Why is it then so hard for ones here to reason and discuss issues that may challenge their own faith, accepted ideas etc? If it does not apply to you then do not reason. But why attempt to prevent those who wish to reason on it? I find this quite curious.
