You enlightened me on a couple of things but on others -specially the relationship between Sistren and Brethren- I would like to know some more. But I will do a lot of reading on this site and wait for more of your enlightenment Brothers and Sisters. But may I ask another naive question -forgive me-. Why can Bethren have another relationship being married? Can Sistren too? -I think I know the answer for the last one.. Brother RasIene. I'm not here to scorn Rastafari or to seek trouble. I'm very sincere in my love for JAH and I really wish to know more the way of Rastafarism before embracing it fully. Babylon has taught me to be selfish and jealous but with self-control and love I know I can eliminate this tendency. But I still would like to know more about extra-marital relationships between Rastamen and Rastawomen. I’m eager to read your post about sex and Rastafari. I know I will learn a lot from that. Thank you again Brother RasIene for your reply. May JAH always protect you and yours. Peace and Knowledge to you.
John_Pancakes where do you live in Dallas? I live in N. Dallas by Richland College on Forest Ln. Are you Rasta yourself? I don't mean to be indiscreet. If this is personal, you don't have to answer. I appreciate your reply as well. May the Light of JAH always shine on you. Peace and Knowledge to you too

"Hello Brothers and Sisters!
I bumbed into this site while I was looking for informations about Rastafari. I'm very interested about it and I would like to become a true Rastawoman. But I don't know anyone here in Dallas, Texas who can teach me about Rastafari. Anyone one the board would happen to know where I can meet good brothers and sisters Rastafarians in the city?
Also can anyone on the board please answer few questions I have about the faith?
1. Is it true Rastafarian Brothers are prejudicial towards women? Is it true that Rastafarian Sisters are considered inferiors to the brothers? What is our role and position as Rastawoman in the faith?
2.What is the appropriate attire for Rastawomen? Should we aslo wear dreadlocks or is it only require we cover our heads with scarves.
3.Can women smoke ganja too? Or is it only a male privilege?
4.What holy scriptures should we study? The one from the "Holy Piby", the "Kebra Nagast", the "Bible" or all of them?
I know my questions are very naive and my english is not very good. (I am sister from Congo-central Africa I've living in the United States for 2 years). I'm new to the faith and I'm craving to know MORE to worship my BLACK God- JAH the right way. Please let me know if you can help. My email address is "princessbantu@yahoo.com" Feel free to send me an email.
Peace and Blessings.
Jah Bless!
