So anything that goes up on these sites must conform to your idea of Rasta. Is it that only people who call themselves Rasta should submit articles to the site? In my view, NO!
The article is there and it should stimulate wise discernment and reasoning. That is it. Any other assumptions are just that, assumptions.
The attempts to have the site censure researched views to suit the narrow-minded interest of a few is certainly not the Rasta way. Rastas are supposed to be able to reason on these issues instead of pushing them aside.
Many Rastas say that repatriation to Africa is important, so understanding other Africans and related conflicts should be welcomed here.
We have already concluded that everyone has a divine aspect in them, so nothing said here could take away from that divine aspect of Haile Selassie.
It will do more justice to all people if Rastas engage other African voices and reason towards reconciling differences. It is obvious that a few want Rastas to be divorced from other African issues and to pay lip service to a flawed idea of Unity.
I think the views in the article can be reasoned, instead of sidetracked like colorism and other pertinent issues that affect dark-skinned-kinky-hair-Black-Africans the most.
Of course, if others don’t like it they can choose other topics. But it says much when a few try to distract from the issues and others who proclaim Rasta don’t look at that poor conduct. It gives the appearance that Rasta supports distortions, distraction and slander all in the name of Rastafari. So who is discrediting Haile Selassie except the few who continually display poor conduct while trying to convince us that they so love HIM?
