i have written elshwere that " book shelf spiruality is not going to take anywhwere". In as much as action informed by theory is plausible ,greater is theory derived from concrete reality.The acid test of any theory is practice.

Elders such BOANARGES & BONGO TIME have emphasised have emphasised like you have pointed out that praying is thinking , planning and implementing ways to realise our aspiration.RASTAFARI APPROACH has never been evolutionary but REVOLUTIONARY. i and i act to realise our objective never have we relegated that to chance or intervention of some mysterious external force. i have written that JAH is in I, for I , with I and is the I !!! Emulation of him therefore that our immdeiate challege is liberation of the African content and africans where ever we are.introduction of revision and reformulations which seek to undermine his majesty ,surely will confuse the masses out there.

History as an activist has taught me that , history is made by people that individuals can influence them but to do so they need to start where most people are. rastafari has always encouraged individuality not individualism.This trod is about us rallying together not pompous individuals who want to have it their own way. Remember ownwayness leads to no wayness. Anyway it is difficult to discuss with these new rastas as most of them do not have any foundation of rastafari at all.IN this movement we reason together ,exchange ideas but once a decision is taken we are all bound by it

rasta theology demystifies concepts such as heaven and hell as it encourages individuals to deal with now reality. We do not seek a god up in the skies for we now god lives in the heart of people.Spirituality divorced from current reality of our people will perptuate the status quo.
