Re: A Question of Phenotype - Part II

Give thanks for your response Rose

I feel that when a post is placed on the board I can or anOne else can responsed to that post as they or I see fit. So my post to you was to merely give you another perspective of the situation as you presented to Djehuti. I can do this because it is an open forum which gives me the right to do so.
If your interest was soley in reference to the initial post than I do not overstand why you responded to Djehuti at all. You could have just posted a response directly to Ayinde but as I said it is your right to post as you please. So in turn I posted to you. Give Thanks.

Give thanks for answering the questions. However, I am interested in knowing from which country you are from?

As to your post I am not clear as to what your point was. I do agree that wi are all "One Black People" as you put it. However, I do not think that wi are all "One Human Race" without regarding that wi are also different peoples with in the Human Race.
In regards to those who "do not want to see the structure examined" yes this may very well be true in a lot of cases but it is not as prevalent as it was 20 years ago (from personal experience). The reason is because wi are progressing toward unification. The progression is not a fast one and will not occur over nite, however wi are progressing just the same. I feel that yes by discussing it more but reasoning about it from an ojective view point as opposed to allowing our personal views (especially wi who are darker) to cloud the issue, wi will be able to put the wheels of healing into motion. As I said before the element of Love must inter into reasonings or the reasoning become counter productive.
I also see the other side of the situation where for example many light skinned Africans, who may be guilty of the actions presented, may not be aware of these actions because they have been conditioned (generation after generation). These folk may not even be aware of their actions because they are not aware of who they are. I also think it is unfair to generalize. Wi must look at the root cause in order to find a cure.
I also think that this topic is worthy of reasoning perhaps wi need to re-examine our attitudes in regards to how wi approach our own people about sensitive matters such as this. I say this because I know what it is like to have been on the receiving end as a dark skinned African Rastafai Woman. So to say that Ones "may be tagged" and so forth alienates the very Ones who would benefit from such reasonings to participate.
True wi all need to wake up but can't wi do it with Love and not bitters?

Blessed Love
