You said: "Would I be wrong in assuming that from that cradle 'people' took forth with them African roots, but today only some people are able to recognise that, what with modern Americanism, Westernism etc. Would it not be better for people to recognise their roots more today for many seem to have lost touch with their 'soul'."
It definitely will not be wrong as the soul of everyone linked to our common African human beginnings so all people can benefit from this soul searching exercise.
