Your post absolutely made my point Sister, thank you for that!!
Yes, true Power is in Nature with our ancestors! Our blak African faiths and culture in general sustained us in all historical Epochs. The Power of the Cosmos benefactor revealed to us black Africans in different ways and befitted our circumstances. Why run away from the Benefactors now? Any wo/man who forgets and forsakes his/her ancestors' way of life is an absolute curse.
When we black Africans gave in to other faiths, thus letting down our ancestors, that was the cradle of our massive subjugation and abuse. Across the world, the faiths of our ancestors are buried in fathomless pits!!
We MUST RETURN TO THE CENTER OF OUR FAITH, "ALL" OUR BLACK AFRICAN RELIGIONS BE IT AKAN, YORUBA, IGBO, VODUN, ZULU, ABOSOM, SHONA, IMANA OR BWAMI! For the voices of our ancestors are incessantly crying "-Our children, WHY do you forget your ancestral spirituality guardian of the morals and principles of Mother Earth? Why do you forget that to choose your masters whose dogmas and principles justify barbarism, colonization, your sacrifice and slavery??-"
BY A COMMON CONCEPTION, TRADITIONAL BLACK AFRICAN RELIGIONS ALLOWED US TO BE OURSELVES, MORE IN TUNED TO NATURE AND OUR ANCESTRAL CUSTOMS, MADE BY BLACK AFRICANS THAT FITTED OUR LIVES!
