While I am sorry that the more substantive points in the first post is being overlooked for this issue I feel that label issue can be developed on another thread.
My question was:

You responded: "Congoid, central African or classical African..."
None of those words/terms are widely recognizable and does not immediately bring to the minds of many ((( the dark-skinned kinky hair types of Africans ))). Today many now rightly claim African but the people who felt/feel the brunt of institutionalized racism are still the dark-skinned kinky hair types of Africans.
It is in this light that I address African issues but have witnessed how the real focus have been blurred over time.
I have always explained the inappropriateness of calling someone a ‘negro’ so that is not the issue I am addressing.
