I'm afraid that you're missing the point. I'm talking about the way European anthropologists have conceptionalized 'negro' in their documents: it might confuse people who are not aware. You pick up their trash literature and you read about Hammites and brown mediterraneans in Egypt, and at the same time they are calling the Nubians 'negroes', which implies that the Egyptians looked other than Black and the Nubians were Black, you get it? They love to emphasize that the Nubians were Black (which automatically implies that the Egyptians were not Black). But in reality racist Egyptologists translate the African term Nehesi wrong, because it is just the name of a nation and not of a race (although a so called race can be a nation).

At the same time those racist scholars love to translate KMW as 'Egyptians', while in truth the proper translation is "The Black People". If you are not aware of all kinds of these tricks, racist anthropologists/Egyptologists/historians can easily trick you into believing that your people have no history. Because all those designations they use like Hammites, semi-Hammites, brown Mediterraneans, Semites, Elongates, Nilots, negroes and negroids (negro-likes) and even Caucasoids represent most of the time basically the same people with darkbrown skin and woolly hair. You as a person who is not well-informed in anthropology might end up believing that just 'negroes' and 'negroids' (negro-likes) are Black, and all the others look like Europeans or Arabs. Or to make a long story short: the myth they have created is that the people who they like to call 'negroes' or 'negro-like' have never created no civilization and have always been the slaves of the Hammites, semi-Hammites, Semites, brown Mediterraneans, and even Caucasoids.

But if all these Hammites, brown Mediterraneans, Semites, Elongateds, Semi-Hammites, Caucasoids, etc. lived in New York they would most probably reside in Harlem. So I would prefer to abandon this racist colonial designations, because the confusion it brings is endless. Besides it is not a name we have given to ourselves, it has, like I said before, been imposed on us by the (former) slavemaster, and a free man will never accept a designation which has been imposed on him by the slavemaster, because dogs and slaves recieve a name from their master, free people give themselves a name!
