Please look at the title again. The use of the word "Negroid" was used to make reference to another topic, that is what the "RE" stands for. I posted this topic opening another string, but showing it's association with the other string, entitled, "Enslaved Negroid Minds".

In addition, my undertanding of the word Negroid, is not one of colonisation, however, before I walk that path, I will get more fact. The word as I understand it TOOK ON negative connotation, but did not ORIGINATE with negative connotation.

Tell me how we would describe NEGROID people without such a term? - Baeutiful, dark skinned (and what do we mean by "dark"?, with "wider noses", and what do we mean by wider - with hair with a "tight curl pattern" - . All of those terms "dark", "wider" and so on are relative and subjective. It suggests that there is a "norm" that person is being compared to. Negroid is simply an identifying term, in my understanding. Since when are Caucasoid, Negroid,Mongoloid, Australoid - (definitions associated with cultural anthropology), negative in connotation. The watered down, unintelligible derrivative "nigger", or "Cracker" doesn't mean, I can no longer use the word in its origin "Negorid or Caucasoid".

I'll do some investigating, but I am not sure I agree I lose a portion of my conciouslness if I were to use the word Negroid - albeit - this time I didn't!
