This is just a point of learning and realization, we who are Rastafari pepole, were first Africans or black people, then when we realized that our ancestors were taken away, from Mama Africa and were brutally enslaved in the western world, we became Rastafari people in order to help, in the advocation for the rights and liberation of African people. So, we were indeed Africans before we became Rastafari people, therefore even when we became Rastafari people, we are stil Africans and black people, there is no getting away from that. Being a Rastafari person just do not make us any higher or lower than African people or black people, if you can Iverstand what I am trying to say. In the early days when I was among my elders, and was learning, there was really no contradictions, about black Rastafari people and white Rastafari people, it was only black Rastafari people which we knew about, when we spoke about Rastafari, it was just black people agitating for the rights and liberation, of African people those at home and those abroad. This whole problem about black and white RAstafari people, just came about after the Twelve Tribe of Isreal was established by brother Gad, and after Brother Bob Marley used HIS MAJESTY'S speech, to create the recording War, and please do not forget the Bob Marley had and still have, a great amount of white people, following his lead into the Rastafari movemant.
So black people have all the rights to use their time and resources, to advocate for African people where ever and whenever, they feel to do it, black people have the rights to do good works, on behalf of the Rastafari movemant, whether they are Rastafari invovled or not. Also, Rastafari people have the rights, to do good works on behalf of black people, whether they are Rastafari people or not. It is indeed the responsibilty of the Rastafari Movemant, to stand up for the rights and advocacy, of all Pan African Movemants, Internationally speaking.
Again I send many oceans of humbleness, since it is really needed among our people.
