ROOTSIE/AYINDE.
It is very easy to respect your reasoning since you always try to remain objective in most of your posts, including this last one. Thanks.
However, I pray that you try to overstand the position that ones hold against the line that is causing so much back and forth.
It was not meant to describe you as dishonest; I think the whole excercise is one that can even help clear up certain uncanniness among Africans who are ALL in the process of repairing themselves(their mind set also).
Inspite of what is quite a logical debate, we can see some Africans deligently disowning their own to make it comfortable for you. AND THAT IS TRUE, when a brother is saying that the effort you are making to help clear the air to other Africans are not called for.
Belief me sister, your effort is hailed with a lot of respect and no less.
At the risk of being called offensive, We African/RasTafari ones apart from defending the frontiers of the continent, It is our duty to defend the divinity of Emperor Haile Sellassie 1 and we are expecting the non RasTafari Africans to give us some space to do so without appearing to be part of a war against those of us who choose HIM as our God and King. I dont think it is asking for too much.
Otherwise, it looks like an open invitation to avoid this forum.
In the absence of the RasTafari ones on this board, the authenticity of RasTafari will always remain undisputed inspite of those who are payed to redefine the mission of RasTafari.
Yes, He will remain one of the Ancients. For many of us He is the Ancient of Days without apology.
