BELOVED YAN AND AYINDE.
FROM MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE I have found that there are some africans who are endowed with the african conciousness and are yet unable to come to terms with the presence of RasTafari, except to go to bed with them...otherwise if they had a choice they would shove them into some closet; especially when in the company of the priviledged, rich and famous.
Somehow for some blacks, RasTafari is a thorn. So they wail about the locks, ganJah, diet, insularities, and our God and King(more so).
The scorn that we receive from a day to day basis from our own people is not new any more. Yet INI keep riding on.
The joke has gone so far that sometimes they assume that some of us are not able to apprehend certain issues and reason us away.
Nothing is new under the sun anymore.
Loyality to Africa is not loyality to Haile Sellassie.
And it was never my intention to make any African think that his African loyality is restricted to INI Majesty.
I never tried to imply that anybody was paid off for being on the board and I hope that I am wrong in my interpretation. It is a known fact that when europeans want to enter into black organs, the first tools they use are sex, money and their stealthy counter intelligence.
My bluntness can be offensive, I apologetically admit; and I am working on avoiding bringing pain to ANYONE. However, certain disagreements will always find place in discussions.
However, I am quite aware of the objective here.
....African progress without discrimination; I hope that I am not wrong.
Why a european talking to dreadlock and concious europeans say that eventually Haile Sellassie 1 will be defunct, from whatever experience one could have.
At least, Ayinde/Yan, you can agree that there is room for questioning her intention.
