The Ivinity of HIM is THE point which separates InI from the larger Rasta movemant. There are many subtle 'new age' philosophies which now embrace some of the same things as InI, and yet InI never seek to tell them so or, redefine their movements.

I ask you respectfully, Rootsie --- can you understand why it is alrming to InI when well educated, articulate Rastafarians seek to fundamentally redefine what it means to be Rasta??? I will humbly admit to you, I find it very displeasing and disrespectful indeed! I have NO PROBLEM with listening to the testimonies of Rastafarians about the wonderful things that happened in their life, thanks to Bob - I LOVE those testimonies, and I have wept tears from listening to such testimonies before. To you HIM may be a metaphor, even a tactical instrument, however to InI HE IS THE ALMIGHTY! Big difference, wouldnt you say? I can defend the Ivinity of HIM based strictly on the Bible OR without a single reference to the Bible! I can defend HIM Ivinity based upon his biographic information alone! or based upon Buddhist or Egyptian or Shaiva traditional doctrine! I can defend HIM Ivinity to ANY ONE on the planet, of ANY tradition. Only when you know HIM can you know the "roots" of all things.
