In my own trod I have always defended the Ivinity of Selassie. But as the years have gone by and I have developed through Rastafari, I have come to embrace and understand in my onw self the concept of I and I, which for I encompasses the Ivinity of everyone and everything. Even us.
So when I think about it this way, I don't need to think of Selassie as someone who never made mistakes in the human realm, or as someone I must worship more than I worship the divinity of myself and others. All springs from the same great Source, and everything that lives is holy. And I know that our departed ancestors still work in the world after they have left the physical, so indeed the full Ivinity of Selassie is also unknown to me.
I feel Selassie fulfill the Judeo-Christian prophecy. So to I that means that we are now in the time that the prophet Jeremiah described, when we no longer need oracles or outward forms, or priests ot temples or even our own bredren and sistren telling us what is JAH. In this time all is written in our hearts, and we can look to the Light within.
