One thing I never do is 'call on' people to take sides on any issue. I call it as I see it (within the rules) and the chips can fall where they may. A White woman (Rootsie) reaching out to other Whites on the issues that we share falls neatly into what WE are promoting i.e. all races can reconcile in an authentic way to the essence of Rasta and people do not need to brake rules, slander and threaten others to promote their point of view. They certainly do not need to deny their race and color to do so.
The operators of the site do not advertise themselves and they leave it for reasoning to determine the pace. But certainly because I know the efforts of all involved, I will never embrace someone who is so arrogant that they do not respect the rights of the legitimate owners and moderators of the website to set their own standards.
How can silly people accuse I on one hand of being against light-skinned people while on the other hand accuse I of promoting light-skinned people (Whites). Surely there is a major contradiction in selling that bogus notion. People cannot escape the fact that the issues are about CONDUCT and RIGHT ORDER and not someone’s inflated idea of their worth.
I am a free man volunteering time, but no one can choose for I or demand favors from I. Who do not respect OUR rights are not helpful anyhow. I will help Black and White and all in between who ask for help and whom I believe I can truly assist, as I force nothing on anyone. But I will not accept arrogance and threats from anyone who wish to dictate how I use my time and efforts or with whom I associate.
Absolutely no one can determine for I who or what I acknowledge as my own supreme life force. No one can show how by I choosing for MY SELF, that the worth and contribution of Haile Selassie and Marcus Garvey, whom I respect together and not one supreme over the other in my interpretation of Rasta and Rastafari, is diminished.
My views does not deny others the right to hold other views and people are always free to choose otherwise if they do not like it here.
