-in other words Britain knew well before the actual coup in Uganda, that Idi Amin planned to overthrow Obote (previous Pres. of Uganda. It is also easy to find documentation that Amin was in fact SUPPORTED by the UK, in his overthrow of of Milton Obote. It is also very easy to find AFRICAN DOCUMENTATION that Amin was an OFFICER IN THE BRITAIN/UGANDAN COLONIAL ARMY.

no it wasnt that bad that during the Mau Mau war, Amin was deployed with the "E" company of the KAR (King's African Rifles) (BRITISH ARMY)to Muranga district in Kenya. As a corporal, Amin fought against the Mau Mau at Tuso, Kairo, Kinyona and Kangema through most of 1953. He was so bloodthirsty that the British kept promoting him and putting their dirty work in his hands.
