Greetings Ayinde
Give thanks for the rasponse. I agree that ones post should be removed if vulgarity is used. I have no problem with that. I posted over a year ago about the site being moderated. This was before the New Reasoning forum came to be. The rasponse was "freedom of speech must be upheld." I wish I could go back to the archives to get the thread. I was cool with that. There have been plenty of disruptive and disraspectful people on this forum during Iman time here. There did come a time when vulgar posts were moved to another space. But these were mostly from people who used characters/symbols or repetative letters in their names. So the regular distractive poster still roamed. I would give names but I dont think that is necessary.
I feel that now, many of the reasonings have become personal. Therefore, the ones personally involved are constantly questioning and judging each others' integrity. Therefore it becomes disraspectful especially if the moderators are some of the ones in question. So now, posts start getting deleted at a very high rate. Much higher compared to the whole time I have posted on this forum. I all seems strange to Iman.
A website is nothing without people. I think that the thought of members should be just as important and valid as those of the moderators. After all, a moderator's post cant be deleted by a regular member. I only want for this forum to be non-partial concerning the posts. A forum such as a Ras Tafari speaks is necessary in this vast world wide web. Hopefully everyone can see the forest in spite of the trees.
