First off, I count Iself as one of the youth: I am a recently 18 year old. And I know so many folk, so many young men and women in my high school who won't even begin to look for alternatives. Why? I got no clue. Violence is easier than peace? Peacemaking is hard work. Lots of committment needed. Much easier, quicker, to kick someone's ass. Or shoot them. I don't know.
